Wink Motors

Warranty

Covered, plainly.

What's covered, what keeps it covered, and how a repair actually happens — without the dealership.

Vehicle

24 months

Up to 12,000 cumulative miles (6,000 in the first 12 months). Broad, bumper-to-bumper coverage on defects in materials and workmanship, subject to the usual exclusions for normal wear and misuse.

Battery

72 months

Six years of prorated coverage on the LFP traction battery, no mileage limit — conditional on documented charge checks and an annual service record.

Rust-through

24 months

Covers rust-through perforation of original factory body panels caused by a defect. Surface rust and cosmetic corrosion aren't covered.

Want more runway? The $1,495 extended warranty option adds one more year to the vehicle warranty and one more to the battery.

Battery coverage

Six years, prorated.

The battery is covered for 72 months with no mileage limit. Wink and the owner share the cost of a covered replacement based on a fixed $2,900 pack value, prorated by the year the vehicle is in:

What keeps it covered

  • Don't charge the pack when it's below 32°F (0°C).
  • Check the state of charge at least once every 60 days and keep a dated log.
  • Once every 12 months, have a shop confirm the battery takes a full charge and the vehicle operates normally — keep that dated record too.

Beyond that, ownership is light: no oil, no spark plugs, no tune-ups. Keep the tires inflated and the two logs current — they’re the evidence a battery claim needs.
